I have worked in the retail industry for over 25 years – wow, where has that time gone? I can honestly say that I have loved every minute of it – aside from a few testing moments along the way – but we all have them, right? Throughout that time, and following a great deal of hard work, I was very fortunate to carve out a great and varied career, spanning all manner of businesses – from big corporate entities to small family-run operations. I have held various roles, including: sales assistant, team leader, store manager and regional manager.
