Wedding Fayre in Double Tree by Hilton Liverpool

Last week it was all about exhibiting in the wedding event held by Double Tree by Hilton in Liverpool. What a beautiful building!
We were so thrilled to be asked to take part in the catwalk, we agreed straight away. We then set about finding some models to showcase our beautiful wedding dresses.
We persuaded three gorgeous ladies we knew to visit Clare Suzanne Bridal a few days before to try the dresses. We then made a selection of the gowns to take with us. To say they looked stunning in the dresses, is an understatement!
Kayleigh, Kasia and Marylin were great. They came along to the venue early and got pampered! They loved it, and who wouldn’t?? They had their make up applied and hair styled and then after a nice cold glass of Prosecco, went off to put on their beautiful dresses ready for the first 12.30pm show.
The catwalk had been set up in the ceremony room so that all of the lovely couples could see the venue set for a wedding. The set up included beautiful floating candles, flowers, dim lights, sashes on the chairs and a large rustic beam where the couples stand to take their vows.
The catwalk had a great turn out, lots of people came in and took there seats and then the music started with ‘Girls just wanna have fun’ Kayleigh went first, followed by Kasia and then Marylin. The atmosphere was amazing! The girls looked stunning in their dresses and they walked so gracefully and confident that even I couldn’t take my eyes off them!
They walked down the aisle quite slowly and then stood under the dressed wooden rustic beam so that the audience could see the backs of the dresses. They then turned and walked to the left facing the audience and then came back and headed towards the right of the room so everybody could see the dresses from all angles. I was amazed, They looked true professionals!
The catwalk lasted for about 15 minutes with a few different changes and then the girls stayed in their dresses afterwards and chatted to the brides-to-be. The feedback was amazing from our couples and from the hotel staff.
Everybody then went upstairs into another reception room where there was lots more businesses in the industry including photographers, event decorations, entertainment, jewellery suppliers, cake suppliers, make up and hair stylists etc. It was a great turn out and a good opportunity for local businesses in the industry to catch up too.
The venue looked beautiful and gave everybody the opportunity to picture their special day. On arrival the happy couples were given goodie bags and a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
For Clare Suzanne Bridal, we received so much great feedback regarding our dresses and the girls showcasing them! For a new business great feedback is so appreciated and rewarding to hear. Lots of cards and leaflets were taken and quite a few brides already knew where are boutique is based which was great!
As for Kayleigh, Kasia and Marylin they looked exquisite and were a pleasure to work with – they were smiling all day! Thank you so much for your time and doing such a fantastic job!
I would also like to say a massive thank you to my friend Michelle.
Michelle was behind the scenes helping me to dress the girls into their gowns, then out of their gowns and then back into more gowns!! It was a busy day, and so worth it. Thank you to everyone involved, we thoroughly enjoyed it!
